The Atlanta Jamaican Association has elected a new Executive
Board for 2008, The election took place at the Annual General Meeting of the Association
held at the Hillside Presbyterian Church Hall on October 13.
Mr. Derrick Harvey,
who was previously President for a period of three years, was again elected to that
office.

who was seeking a fourth term. The

are:

Mr. Trevor Smith
- Treasurer
Mr. Granville Saunders
- Assistant Treasurer
Mr. George Aird
- Secretary
Dr. Princes
Beckford
- Assistant Secretary
Mr. Jim Kelly
- Parliamentarian
Mr. Winston Henry
These seven officers along with two Trustees to be appointed by the new President,
in accordance with the By Laws, will constitute the 2008 Executive Board of the
Association, They will assume office in January 2008.
