The National Associational of Jamaican and Supportive Organizations (NAJASO) will hold its Thirty-second Annual Convention at the Atlanta Hilton Hotel, downtown Atlanta from July 16 to 19. NAJASO, based in Washington DC, is the umbrella organization for Jamaican association in the United States. The Atlanta Jamaican Association is one of its several affiliates and, as is customary, will host the Convention which isb expected to bring together in Atlanta representatives of affiliates from several other cities. The Convention is open to the public.
The Honorable Bruce Golding, Prime Minister of JJamaica or Designee will be t the Keynote Speaker at the Dinner and Awards Banquet, scheduled for Saturday, July 18. The Honorable Portia Simpson, Leader of the Opposition, or Designee will be the Guest Speaker at the Formal Opening Luncheon on Friday, July 17, while the Ambassador, His Excellency Anthony Johnson will be the Guest Speaker at the Formal Opening Reception on Thursday, July 16.;
