AJA's President, Errol Ritchie, offers his condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the families affected by the recent earthquake in Haiti, and pledges AJA's support in the relief effort. Mr. Ritchie has been in contact with the Jamaican Honorary Consul here and with the the Haitian Alliance.

The Atlanta Jamaican Association (AJA) is of the view that the most effective way to help the victims of the recent devastating earthquake at this time, is by making financial contribution. For this reason AJA is inviting the Jamaican community and others,  donate by making a contribution through Pay pal.

AJA is inviting the other Caribbean organizations to encourage their members to do so as well. Please help our brothers and sisters in Haiti by contributing here or in any other way you choose. All funds received by AJA for this cause, will be kept in a separate account and remitted to the Haitian Alliance Inc. to be used for the Haitian relief effort. At the end of the collection drive, AJA will announce the total collected.
